Nancy Casciano

Nancy Casciano is an award winning artist from Egg Harbor Township. Originally from Philadelphia, she has lived most of her life at the Jersey Shore. The meadows are her biggest inspiration for her paintings. She works mostly with pastels, but enjoys watercolor and acrylic mediums. Her awards include: First Place, Pastel-Ocean County Decoy Show, Tuckerton, NJ, 2009 and Second Place, Acrylics-Ocean County De3coy Show, Tuckerton, NJ, 2010.

Her teachers have been a major inspiration for her. Nancy started her art journey in 2003 studying watercolor painting with Marie Natale, Anna Marie Zabielski and Sue Rau. She has studied acrylics with Anthony Hillman. Margaret Heuges gave her a love of pastels and plein air painting.

Her paintings reflect her love of South Jersey with a focus on land, water and sky.
