Susan Hanna Rau

  Raised in Ohio, Susan Hanna Rau has spent her life painting. Ms. Rau moved to New Jersey and her art has been flourishing there. Susan creates unique and unusual decorative items, including furniture pieces and home decorations. Ms. Rau’s watercolors, created through working with colors, shapes, and movement of design, express her love of nature.

  Susan has been painting and showing her art in the South Jersey area for more than 25 years. Ms. Rau is well known for her decorative art, which is highly regarded and sought after. Susan’s works are included in many collections in the U.S. and abroad. She uses acrylics, watercolors, and pastels for her work. Susan is an instructor at the Ocean City Art Center in Ocean City, New Jersey.

  Her work can be seen at the newly renovated OC Art League; at the Wild Bird Crossing in Seaville; at the East End Gallery in Margate; and at several other New Jersey galleries.
